.PNG Image Fades 5:33 pm

I just implemented a variation of Image fades for overflow: auto to the elliotswan.com homepage. It’s quite similar to that found on the chalk.it blog.

IE users 6 and below won’t be able to see it (unless they migrate to a better browser, of course ;) ), but if your browser supports .PNG transparency and position:fixed, then it should hopefully look good.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on it, and if something looks weird in your browser please let me know. :)

EDIT: Unfortunately, I had to take it out for now, as it covers the footer and makes it impossible to use the links in it. If anybody has a solution for this, please let me know…

sorry, on moms computer and don’t have FireFox. (i know for shame for shame)

I’ll check it out in the morning… then again… maybe i wont… but if i did and said i didn’t would cows still lack the ability to fly? What if i didn’t and said i didn’t but implied i didn’t but hinted i did.

And the even bigger question… why am i awake. I’m going to kill myself like this… or at least annoy others.

So you’re that 8% using IE on here this month! lol.

Say Something.

I'm a nice guy, so I'll let you use basic XHTML such as <a>, <strong>, <em>, <blockquote>, and <code>. If you're trying to share some code with us, just make sure to run it through Postable first.
