I tend to take a look at what Google come out with because more than not, of late, most of it’s been pretty good. Google Earth and Froogle were both very clever ideas that are also pretty useful. The thing is, it’s going to have to be some ‘out of this world’ IM service to get me to switch (again).

I think the IM service is going to be a hard sell unless it integrates AIM, YIM, and MSN (like Trillian). Millions of people use IM clients, and none of them are currently using Google Talk. People aren’t going to switch unless the people on their contact list switch as well, or they can contact them through the new client.

And it’s not for Mac … But Google have built GTalk to work with other clients which is nice of them

oh yeah, and im still working on that IM service. If i can ever get my home server working.
