Apparently one of the lead PHP developers quit yesterday, possibly because of the whole Israel/Lebanon conflict.
Anybody know anything more about this?
The 1% rule has been getting some talk lately, and Particletree did a nice writeup on it. I think they’ve got something, but I also believe that the one percent can be (and, by some, has been) increased by several margins.

Today marks a successful first year of blogging here at elliotswan.com. I’ve had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and I’m definitely looking forward to its future. Some stuff that’s been accomplished in the last year:

Remeber those old-school “choose your own adventure” books? You know, you read a few pages, made a choice, then saved your place in case you died from it? (Oh, the days before auto checkpoints). Well I’ve got a similar thing for you.
