I‘ve decided to take a quick break from my Making Code Poetry series after reading this little flamewar. In response to it, I have just one thing to say: Who really cares?

I mean come on, this is ridiculous. Two of the biggest blog networks resorting to flamewars…Is that the best you can do, publicly whine and look like a jerk? (And don’t give me any of that “we’re not a blog network” crap…“A community of the best weblogs in the world” sounds a lot like a network of blogs to me.)

As Steve Jobs said in his famous 1997 keynote:

“We have to let go of this notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft has to loose. Okay? We have to embrace a notion that for Apple to win, Apple has to do a really good job.”

Just curious…How much time do you think you guys have wasted flaming each other? What do you think could’ve been actually accomplished in that time?

As a 9ruler myself, I have to say that I don’t really care where b5media gets their numbers from. What does that have to do with me? Nothing. What does that have to do with 9rules? Nothing. What does that have to do with anything? Nothing.

It’s a waste of time, and it looks stupid.
