There still is header text in the HTML, it's just been replaced by an image in the CSS (so it's still search engine/screen reader readable). The text has some coloring/painting over it, and I wasn't willing to give that up for plain text. :) Thanks!

I enjoy the distressed look in the banner and footer and overall, the colors mesh really well. I don't have any suggestions for improvement, because it looks really good! I guess the only thing I'm confused about is your introduction sentence under the navigation..."I'm a designer and web developer..." I'm not really sure why the text is image based and not HTML text?
